HOW TO AVOID TERMITES INFESTATION?

This is because termites get into your house through wood to soil contact or wood to wood contact. So it is your first priority to make sure those situations don't exist at all:

1. Avoid water accumulation near your home's foundation.
2. Divert water away with properly functioning downspouts, gutters and splash blocks.
3. Reduce humidity in crawl spaces with proper ventilation.
4. Never bury wood scraps or waste lumber in the yard.
5. Most importantly, eliminate wood contact with the soil.
6. Maintain a one-inch gap between the soil and wood portions of the building.
